My name is Annamarie B, and I am a female home carer with a passion for helping others. With several years of experience in the field, I specialize in providing hourly care to individuals in need. I am well-versed in caring for patients with various conditions including Dementia (such as Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia), Anxiety, Depression, Mild Cognitive Impairment, and Deafness.
In addition to my experience, I am also equipped with the necessary skills to provide comprehensive care. I am proficient in administrative tasks, cleaning, laundry, cooking, and providing companionship. These skills enable me to not only care for an individual's physical needs but also ensure their environment is clean and comfortable while offering support emotionally.
Outside of my professional duties, I enjoy several hobbies that keep me refreshed and inspired. Walking, decorating, reading, and listening to music are just a few activities that bring me joy. Furthermore, I am a pet lover and have no specific preferences when it comes to the type of animals in the household. Whether it's cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, or birds, I am more than happy to care for them too.
What motivates me to be a home carer is the deep satisfaction I feel when I can help others lead independent lives. Reference for Annamarie Bees Annamarie provided excellent care for my daughter for a number of years. She was highly professional from the very start. Following an initial telephone conversation, Annmarie arrived to meet my daughter having already considered her needs. My daughter, who has a range of mental and physical needs, took to Annemarie immediately, which was wonderful as she does not take to everyone. Annamarie ensured that all her needs and more were met, ensuring that my daughter was ready for the taxi in the morning by helping her get ready. Later in the day Annamarie met her taxi and ensured that she had her normal shower, tea and biscuits. Routine is important for my daughter and this was always supported. Where things needed to be different Annamarie was always sensitive to her needs and ensured that any change was not a problem. She took great care to understand my daughter's needs, likes and dislikes. When she was looking after her for longer periods she would organise activities, crafts, days out and more. They would often go for a walk with our dog, which they all enjoyed. When my daughter moved from school to college Annamarie was instrumental in supporting the transition, taking her to key transition days and helping to prepare her. Annamarie has become a much loved member of our family and I will always be grateful for the time she spent with my daughter. Over the years my daughter grew in confidence in a whole range of ways and Annamarie gave her the confidence to be more independent. I cannot recommend Annamarie enough. She brings a ray of light, love and happiness to all around her.
